Aim and Objectives
Purpose of the project
Apply the principles of the New European Bauhaus (sustainability, aesthetics, inclusion) to improve the contact between the younger generation and green public spaces, guided by the wisdom of the elderly. Through a series of social farming activities, the project aims to stimulate the involvement of adolescents from Arsoli (including young immigrants) in the cultivation and collaborative cooking of the “fagiolina arsolana”.
Project objectives
(i) promote health by offering areas for physical activity, stress relief and social interaction and inclusion;
(ii) handing down the experience and skills necessary for the traditional cultivation and cooking of the "fagiolina arsolana" from local elders to adolescents;
(iii) strengthen the sense of belonging to the community through the organization of a local competition aimed at testing the culinary skills of citizens in the preparation of a creative recipe for the "fagiolina".
